Aroid Repotting Set

A repotting set for aroids in which the individual components are deliberately matched. The Aroid Repotting Set combines an airy base substrate with two coarse structural components and a clean working surface. This lets you repot Monstera, Alocasia and Philodendron in a targeted way without having to source a separate product for every step.

Included in the set

• 5 L Alocasia Mix – an airy base for aroids and other tropical houseplants.
• 1 L pumice – a mineral structural component for additional aeration and drainage.
• 1 L pine bark – coarse organic structure for a loose substrate.
• BRADAS repotting mat 66 × 66 cm – a contained, wipe-clean work surface for substrate and repotting tasks.

Why this combination?

Repotting aroids is not just about “new soil”. What matters is a root zone that can retain moisture without becoming permanently compacted. The Alocasia Mix forms the base; you can add pumice and pine bark depending on the plant, root mass and watering habits. The repotting mat helps keep the work controlled indoors.

Suitable for

The set is particularly suitable for Alocasia, Monstera, Philodendron and other aroids, as well as plants for which you prefer a coarser, structurally stable substrate.

How to use the set

1. Lay out the repotting mat and carefully remove the plant from its current container.
2. Inspect the roots and remove loose, dead material.
3. Use Alocasia Mix as the base and add pumice and pine bark to achieve the desired structure.
4. Position the plant, fill gaps loosely and do not compact heavily.
5. Then water according to the plant and the current moisture level.
